Car Vest Own is a small, independent used-car shop at 3213 45th Street, right in the heart of City Heights. We are not a franchise and not a high-pressure lot, just neighbors who know cars. Owner Paul J Katson runs the shop the way he would want to be treated: tell the truth about the car, explain what it needs, and let the buyer decide.
City Heights is one of San Diego's most diverse and hardworking neighborhoods, and it deserves an automotive shop it can rely on. Whatever brings you in, we take the time to understand what you actually need, daily commute, family seating, or weekend hauling, and then we help you find a vehicle that genuinely fits.
Our approach to used cars is simple. We focus on well-maintained vehicles with clear histories, and we would rather pass on a car than sell one we would not drive ourselves. If a vehicle has a flaw, we point it out. That honesty is why customers come back and send their friends and family our way.
